The Miniature Parade of My Protected Life

This ongoing series of handmade miniature works began with imaginary architecture and has gradually expanded into many different forms. These small constructions explore memory, place, humor, and the strange beauty of everyday objects through a playful architectural language.

The Miniature Parade of My Protected Life is my fourth imaginary miniature project, inspired by my childhood in a housing complex in Japan. I wanted to transform fragments of my own lived experiences into small objects and scenes that make me feel safe, comfortable, and protected.

In that sense, these miniatures are almost like amulets. They hold memories, emotions, and small pieces of everyday life, while protecting me from negative energy. The idea of carrying or keeping objects for protection exists in many cultures around the world, and I wanted to bring that universal feeling into my own miniature world.
